Round Table* - the table, celebrated in mediæval legend, round which Arthur and his chosen knights were supposed to have sat, and which was made round so that there might be no pre-eminence or rivalry.

Camelot* - in Arthurian legend, the seat of King Arthur's court.

Lyonnesse* - mythical "lost" land supposed once to have connected Cornwall in the west of England with the Scilly Isles lying in the English Channel. The name Lyonnesse first appeared  in Sir Thomas Malory's late 15th-century prose account of the rise and fall of King Arthur, Le Morte Darthur, in which it was the native land of the hero Tristan. Arthurian legend, however, had long associated Tristan with Leonois--probably the region around Saint-Pol-de-Léon in Brittany--and this form is the source of Malory's Lyonnesse;      loot - to plunder, sack.

Jacob* - Hebrew patriarch who was the grandson of Abraham, the son of Isaac and Rebekah, and the traditional ancestor of the people of Israel. According to the Old Testament, Jacob was the younger twin brother of Esau, who was the ancestor of Edom and the Edomites.  

Esau* - name of the elder of the twin sons of the patriarch Isaac, who sold his birthright to his brother Jacob for 'a mess of pottage'.
